Thank you for your interest in the ADSA.  We are currently accepting new members!  The following information are general guidelines for membership.  If you are interested in becoming a member, please read through the information on this page and then print an application form here: ADSA Application For Membership

General Information

  • Annual dues are for one calendar year (January 1st – December 31st) and are not pro-rated
  • One membership application must be submitted per person, including junior members
  • New applications submitted before Oct 1st will expire at the end of the current calendar year; New applications submitted after Oct 1st will be good through the end of the following calendar year
  • New membership applications must be submitted in person at the clubhouse; if you are signing up as an adult member please be sure to bring photo identification with you
  • New members are required to have a sponsor sign their application form.  The sponsor can be any adult member that has been a member in good standing with the association for at least 1 year
  • New members are required to be a US citizen
  • New members will only be issued a membership card after being officially read-in at the next general membership meeting following submission of their application; this will typically arrive in the mail within a month after that meeting. You may begin using the facilities immediately after your application has been submitted. Please be sure to keep your application receipt on you as it will serve as your temporary membership card until you receive your actual card in the mail.
  • The association currently only accepts cash or check for membership payment
  • Once paid, dues can not be refunded for that membership year
  • The spouse, children, and step-children of a member may use the facilities as a member, but cannot vote.  Spouses may sign-up and pay dues for their own membership if they wish to vote.  If you are a spouse, child, or step-child of a member and do not have your own membership, you must carry a copy of the card-holding member’s card with you when using the facilities.
  • A widow or widower of a member in good standing may continue the membership in their name, provided dues payment is kept current, otherwise a new application must be submitted and initiation fee paid
  • Renewals are due by December 31st of the current membership year or else a late fee will be assessed
  • Renewals not paid by January 31st will result in your membership being terminated; once terminated a new membership application will need to be filled out and the initiation fee paid again to be reinstated as a member
  • Renewals for the following year may be submitted starting Oct 1st

Membership Types

Adult Memberships
  • Anyone 18 years of age or older may join the association as an adult member
  • If you are currently a junior member and you turn 21 before the first day of the new membership year, you must renew as an adult member
  • Annual dues for adult members are $50
  • For new members an initiation fee of $100 must be paid in addition to your first year’s dues.  Current Junior members renewing as adults will not be assessed this fee
  • Renewing members will never be charged the initiation fee unless they let their membership lapse
  • New members are highly encouraged to attend the next general meeting held on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 7pm
  • Any full time active duty member of the Armed Forces shall be granted a membership for 1 cent per year for as long as they remain active.  Please speak with a club director for more information and to sign up for this membership
Junior Memberships
  • Anyone under 21 years of age may join the association as a junior member
  • If you are currently a junior member and you are 21 on the day you renew, you must renew as an adult member
  • Junior members have no voting privileges
  • Annual dues for junior members are $5
  • There is no initiation fee assessed for new junior members
  • If under the age of 18, new junior membership applications must also be signed by a parent or guardian 18 years of age or older who will be responsible for the actions of this member while on association property
Life Memberships
  • New members cannot sign up for life memberships; they are made available to long-standing members within the association.  
  • Active members who have maintained their membership for 15 consecutive years or more are eligible for this membership in the years following their 65th birthday
  • Life memeberships are only issued upon request of an eligible member
  • Annual dues for life members are 1 cent
  • In the event of the death of a life member, their spouse can assume the life membership will full privileges of the association
Co-Op Memberships
  • These memberships are issued to landowners of twenty (20) acres or more of legal hunting and fishing areas who give hunting and/or fishing privileges on their land to all members of the association
